I highly doubt it. The pay2win pve heroes/gold buyers will only massively stretch the gap between those that don’t either Buy BNS Gold or dump their trust funds into the game and those that take their time with it, whether by choice or by necessity. The game’s economy is not at a stage where introducing legendaries will reap any positive rewards.
Remember, legendaries are a MASSIVE jump in cost from the main Hongmoon weapon path. They are the kinds of weapons that people in KR would dump several thousands of dollars (in USD) to get/upgrade. Most people in NA/EU don’t seem to have even gotten past true pirate yet so I really don’t see this happening or working out well for the game at all.
It would serve as little more than a death knell to introduce legendaries into a game riddled with various issues that’s rushing content faster than what most people are comfortable with.
Most of my guildmates are capping themselves at True Breeze and True Oathbreaker accessories and saving up money instead for when Infernal Battleground is re-introduced for the chance at obtaining legendaries from the event with Blade And Soul Gold. Anything past True Oathbreaker accessory-wise is a waste of materials really due to the extremely pathetic boosts it offers. I would rather they introduce the Black/White series first which they should with the coming of SJP and Cold Storage and legendary accessories. I just hope they dont screw us over by giving us the old accessories and then introducing the elemental accessories.
I don’t get this mentality, you’re not meant to get it instantly and yes people who pay will always have things first. Thing is it’s something for you too work towards and see the path it takes, whether they put the path here now or later it’ll be the same thing. There isn’t going to be bns gold farmer replacing this except other legendaries either and when they release those, well something willing to shell some cash will get it first whether legit or not.
